Debugging with Highlight Execution make GUI non-responsive

On my system my 2d graphic drawing speed is extremely fast. I have no problem when execution highlighting is turnned off.

I still don't understand why my menus and windowing system have to runn so slow while LV draws 8 little bubles traviling down a little wire.

I am confident that the graphical performance on drawing the scene like that is not the issue. That is not why Windows is reporting that LV is "not responding" in the title bar of thw LV Window.

Still, I don't really care what is the cause of this non-responsiveness, I want to know what can be done to get around it and to get the LV Windows to be responsive when Executuion Highlighting in active.

Are you running a built application with the debugger active, or are you running in the development environment?

I am running in the development environment.

The app is not yet built.

Would building it make it run better?
