Hi Happy guy,

on bottom LHS of  computer screen start programs, search for national instruments  folder- enter folder and click on measurements and automation (this is MAX)

allow program to load then find Ni spy. If need be use help associated with MAX.

hi xseadog

i tried using the gpib write instead of visa write....but seems the problem still exists

however...i was testing the program in "highlight execution"...since in that mode, it will introduce some delay  and the occurence of that problem reduced...so i introduce lots of wait time inthe program especially between the transition from the hd controller to hp analyzer...

however once in a while that problem still appears......

do you have any example regarding how to use na-spy thing?

thx again for the help
