Detects previous installation of Labview

Hi, when trying to install Labview 7.1 the computer detects a previous evaluation version or distribution of Labview and will not continue intializing the installer.  There is no previous version of Labview on the computer....  There was but we had to return the computer to its factory installed settings, we checked program files and the registry for Labview components but found none. Any suggestions on how to get LAbview installed?   Thank you.
