Devcon commands returning different results when called in another vi?

Hi,

I am using the Devcon Device Control VIs to restart a Bluetooth dongle, and power supply at a certain point in my application. The VI I wrote works perfectly when run 'stand alone":

but when the VI is called inside of another VI, I get the following returned:

I've done quite a bit of reading up on Devcon, and read all of the posts I could find about folks using it w/ LabVIEW, but have not come across anyone else having this same issue. So for some reason when called, the "devcon restart" command doesn't actually restart the USB devices like it does when running the VI by itself.

Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated. LV 2019 files are attached. Refer to "USB Reset.vi" inside the "Public" folder.
