Devices and Interfaces option not in MAX

I just installed evaluation software so that I could do the 3 hour tutorial and in the first exercise I'm told to right click on "Devices and Interfaces" in MAX. Well I don't see Devices and Interfaces anywhere in the list. All I've got is "My System"->"Software" and "Remote Systems" on the tree on the left of my screen. I've gone through the help and see nothing about what to do. Any suggestions?

Probably, you have to install NI DAQ Device Drivers as well.

Dear ckakask,

The exercises require the DAQmx driver. When you install the LabVIEW evaluation version, you are not installing any drivers. That's why you need to follow devchander's suggestion. Find DAQmx 8.3 in the list of drivers and click on the link. Then download the driver and install it on your PC. The folder devices and interfaces will show up only if you have any NI Data Acquisition devices installed on your PC. If you do not have any, then you can follow Track B of each exercise, where you will be simulating devices as described in the tutorial.
