Devices showing up in MAX

I have a PXI chassis with a controller and various PXI boards with a windows XP operating system.   In the NI MAX software, in the devices folder all of the boards show up in the PXI chassis folder with the correct slot numbers and various device numbers.  However, in the NI-DAQmx and Ni-DAQ Legacy folders, not all of the boards show up and the ones that do have different device numbers and N/A as the slot number.  How do I get all of the boards in these folders to be correctly found and labelled?

Some boards are supported by only DAQmx

Some are supported only by Traditional DAQ

and some are supported by both versions of device drivers

This would be the reason of your observation

What are the Boards that you are having??

Dilkgeet,

What devchander said is correct. Knowing what specific PXI devices you have would be very helpful. Do any of your devices have specific problems or fail self tests? If you would like more help , please post a screen shot of Measurement and Automation Explorer. Please make sure this screen shot shows what devices are found in DAQmx, Traditional NI-DAQ, and the PXI chassis.
