I frequently find myself diagnosing network problems, and the chief tool I use for packet analysis is the free download WireShark.
What other programs are people using for packet analysis?

Using LabVIEW to communicate over the LAN that is being diagnosed.

And the point is?
Or is the purpose, self-serving promotion of your LabVIEW-for-hire skills?

LOL, not self serving promotion. Self serving trying to find the best way to do something while programming with LabVIEW.
I'm trying to find out in a group of LabVIEW users, who diagnose communications issues while programming quite frequently, if there is a better option than what I'm currently using. I also thought that someone who hasn't even found these tools, if nothing better shows up, would like to have this information that took me a lot of time to find.
I didn't know this was going to cause an uprising.

When you include a verbiage for your LabVIEW services in every post, it comes across as self-promotion.
If you are desperate for work, there is another that would suit your purpose more.

Yes, my signature includes that I wouldn't mind picking up some of the right kinds of jobs on the side. No I am not desperate to work. I have a full time job, but I only work four days a week which leaves me a bit of time to take on some extra work if it happens to come up.
I'm sorry that you see this as desperation.
The post's purpose was not self serving promotion. I'm trying to find out information and pass on information useful to LabVIEW users.
Now all of this back and forth really isn't doing much to follow in that vein.

Well, some view it as a "self-advertisement", which isn't the purpose of this Forum (there is the LabVIEW Developers Seeking Employment forum ...). You could consider making your Signature more modest (like a line or two) ...
