Display problems of Labview Developement System

Hello,

I have an issue with the display of my developement System LabVIEW 2015 64 Bit after activating a Toolkit, any suggestions how to solve it? Didnt find anything sufficient, Image attached.

I tried restarts, changing Win10 resolutions, nothing worked.

Thanks for a hint!

What Toolkit did you activate?  We need to know so we "don't do that!".

Does this strange appearance only show up in LabVIEW?  That is, when you stop LabVIEW, does your Desktop look OK, do other Programs look OK?

Assuming the answer to the previous questions is "Things look OK outside the LabVIEW Environment", when does the change occur?  When you simply start LabVIEW?  Open a VI?  Edit?  Save?  Run?

I activated the Automotive Diagnostic Command Set.

All other Applications work - and I figured out, that even my 32 Bit Developement Environment displays correctly..

It started after activation starting LabVIEW - and all views of Project, Startup, Saving are "destroyed"

Hallo Horst,

what happens when start LabVIEW after you delete the LabVIEW.ini file?

(Create a backup of that ini file for safety reasons!)

Best regards,
GerdW

Hi Horst,

deleting the ini file sometimes helps with weird IDE problems. Just a wild guess…

Does your toolkit even support the 64bit version of LabVIEW?

What does your local NI support say about that problem?

(Well, LabVIEW2015 isn't officially supported for Win10 anyway…)

Best regards,
GerdW

Hey Gerd,

thx for the tipp, was just meant that it didnt work, still glad you help 🙂

If supported or not, it shouldnt destroy my 64 Bit Version, the activation should be independent of the used developement system..

Local support didnt answer so far - LV2015 is specified by customer.. And setting up Win7 is not an option, everything worked for over a year on my pc without any issues..

Cant even open my project on 32 Bit now without LV crashing, I see myself reinstalling - but waiting for a support answer first.

Thanks Gerd!
