Do I need the FPGA Module to use the PCI 7813R device?

I am attempting to use a 7831R PCI card to send SDLC messages to a remote computer.  I have the card, cabling, a breakout box, and LabView 8.0.  Am I going to need the FPGA Module for LV, or will I be able to get by with what we currently have?

Hello,

To use a R-serie boad such th PCI-7831, according to this link "Do I need the LabVIEW FPGA Module to program the R Series?", you nead to use the module labview FPGA.

PS: The driver uses for the PCI-7831 is NI-RIO.
