Does Labview 3.1 compatible with Win98?

LV 3.1 runs on win95 properly, but I have problem run it under win98.

LabVIEW 3.1 IS COMPATIBLE WITH WINDOWS 98. I checked some resources and found out that info. Furthermore, if you have problems, you might upgrade to 3.1.1 by downloading the patch at: ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/updates/windows/win3x/31-to-311/ which is also fully compatible with Win 98.

OK! Try this path ftp://ftp.ni.com/support/labview/updates/windows/, and go to Win3x, and then go to 31-to-311.

If that doesn't work go to http://digital.ni.com/softlib.nsf/display?ReadForm&lookup=LabVIEW&view=weballsoftware&node=132070_US, and then go to Windows 3.1, then Update, and then LabVIEW for Windows and Windows NT 3.1.1 Updater. Maybe, you will have to fill out a profile webpage, but that's easy.

I tried the second link, same thing happened to me. What username & PW should I use to log into ftp server? I tried my email as PW, but...
My orignal question is: when I use Labview under Win95, everything is OK, but when i tried to run LV 3.1 under win98, I got problem. Nothing with Windows 3.1.

I guess you have a severe problem with your connection to the ftp of NI. Maybe your connection has a firewall. I suggest you to try those two links in another computer out of your network.

Furthermore, the Windows 3.1 which I pointed to, is where the LV 3.1 Upgrade is located. I never meant that your problem had to do with Win 3.1. It is just the place where the upgrade is located.
