Does Labview 6.1 installation change the boot sector?

I installed Labview 6.1 on Win98 machine with Norton Antivirus, and got a message saying boot sector changed is this OK. Does 6.1 change the boot sector or do I have a virus?

I Assume this has nothing to do with LabVIEW. My Virusscan didn't alert me
for anything.

I think it's something else...

Virus - labview does not affect the boot sector
