Intaris,

I am in a bit of a pickle and need to re-create the LV 6.1 development environment for an OLD application.  I have a full license but we' misplaced the CDs.  I've checked with NI but they no longer have copies either. Anyway, is there anyway I can get copies from you or download a copy via FTP?

Thanks so much for any help you can provide.

Corey

I don't know what licence you have, so I'd have to be careful which version I would send.

I'd have to clear it up with my local NI office here first.....

Where are you located? I'm in Switzerland, so there may well be someone closer to you.

Shane.

I have the software subscription service so I get all of the latest LabVIEW versions...unfortunatley NI has been unable to locate 6.1 to send to me.  BTW - I'm in Indianapolis IN...

Hi there,

I think  Intaris is right. You should contact NI and see what they can do for you. I don't know who you spoke too, but your field sales rep should be able to help you out on this.

 Regards,

Matthieu

I contacted NI support hotline, and they said that they no longer support this version, and they do not have the CDs...I was STUNNED!!!! I have since sent an email to every local rep in Indiana.  SO far no luck...

The best option would be to find someone else in Indiana.

If your sales rep can put you into touch with some long-running customers, they should be able to hunt down some CDs.  The fact that NI doesn't keep the CDs on stock is sometimes annoying but is at least consistent.  I had the same problem here in Switzerland.

Ask your sales rep just to do youa  favour.  YOu're a paying customer after all, and the licence allows downgrading so there's no legal barrier.

Just making sure there's no legal barrier is best if you actually go over your sales rep.  He can even contact me if he wants, and I'll pass on CDs to you via your local NI sales rep.

Cost? 5 Stars  :smileyvery-happy:
