Does anyone have any information about error code 8

I saved working VI's to a file server - later I tried to use them - some of the VI (the ones I really need) failed to open - error code 8

The following is the explanation from menu item Windows, Explain Error.

"Warning 8 occurred at an unidentified location.

Possible reasons:

LabVIEW: File permission error.
or
NI-488: DMA hardware error detected."

When this error occurs while trying to open a VI, it could mean that a VI has been saved with a version higher than the one that you're using.
