Does anyone know why my GPIB card 777158-51 is giving bad data.

I recently upgraded an old pc running Win 2000 to a newer pc running XP and used the existing drivers.  The new system gives me incorrect readings spuratically when polling an instrument with the GPIB card.  Does anyone know why?

Hi Dave,

Are you using XP SP2 or SP3? 

Please post a SPY capture of both cases so we can pinpoint the issue.

Also, what are your driver versions for NI-488.2 and NI-VISA?

You can find those by opening up Measurement and Automation Explorer (MAX) and expanding the software tab.
