Does the NI Hypertrend in Labview DSC work the same as the one in Lookout

I am interested in creating a Labview program with the DSC Module that will implement an NI Hypertrend and a Citadel-5 Database.  Does the NI Hypertrend in DSC look and act just like the Hypertrend Objsct in Lookout??

  Yes, the look and feel is similar. There are a lot of control properties and methods in DSC that you could use to log data as well. Right click on the NI Hypertrend and then go in to properties and refer the help. It has very good information.

There are two trend Objects in Lookout:  the native HyperTrend and the ActiveX-based one.  The one in DSC is similar (same?) to the ActiveX-based one.
