Dos to Labview drivers

I have a large body of DOS programs for motion control and optical instrument
control for which I would like to build drivers in LabVIEW. These instruments
operate from proprietary PC boards. Is there an 'easy way' to port the DOS
so the system doesn't need to be redesigned????? (Hope , Hope)

You may be in for some problems but you do have a few choices.

1) If the programs are built on DLLs (HIGHLY doubtful, but who knows)
then you can use the Call Library Function to call the DLLs

2) If they are simply EXEs you can try using the System Exec function
and run the exectuables.

This all of course specualtes that you are running Windows.
LabVIEW wont run under DOS.
