Hi ksurdi,

please use the upconvert thread the next when you need to load an old VI in newer LV versions...

As I don't have the traditional DAQ driver installed you get some broken links in the VI!

Best regards,
GerdW

Hello,

Could someone please convert the following VI from 8.2 to 7.1. It would be greatly appreciated. Many thanks.

Cheers,

Attached is the VI in 7.1.

But... The VI looks more complicated than it needs to be. What is the premise of the VI? You may want to start a new thread asking if someone has a better way of doing this.

We've tried this before. I think the only way this is going to work is for someone who has IMAQ for each LabVIEW version to do the conversion. It seems that trying to do the back-save without it doesn't work. I don't know if you're going to find someone who has IMAQ for each required LabVIEW version.

Thank you. What happens is that I can not open the file with the version 8.5 and found an alternative that is open from a much older version.
Although unable to use the entire saw hope to see its structure (Block Diagram) and to understand it better. Especially in cases involving complex structures such as the "Stack Sequencer."
Maybe this is very big favor if I ask you send me the pictures of catches Block Diagram camara.vi file (but I think it will be too and that such controls may contain nested Stack Sequencer which greatly complicate the capture of images) .

Thanks again.

Attached is a zip containing a printout of the VI documentation, which include the front panel and block diagram. I turned on the labels for the VIs so you could see which NI Vision and IMAQ VIs were being used.

Thanks smercurio_fc. The file you sent me I find it extremely helpful. Now I have a better idea of the operation.

Thank you very much again. 🙂
