Well, apparently, while the paperwork that we could find has v8.5 written on it, the software says it is actually v8.0. So, I have to kindly ask again if someone would convert the above attachment to v8.0.
Thanks again. Sorry for the trouble.

OK... in 8.0. I'm guessing you'll probably be back once you find that you need all those subVIs...
Warning: whoever wrote this VI didn't know what they were doing.

Thanks smercurio.
I still haven't seen what this vi looks like. Right now I'm expecting to rewrite this thing from scratch.
And thanks for the warning. I'll be sure to share that info with everyone in the lab.

Go right ahead. We're not afraid to point out "dubious" code around here.

I'd have to agree with smercurio on this one 😉

We were able to open the converted file, and indeed, it's quite a mess. But it's the only thing that we have right now, and supposedly, it works if you have all the subVIs. And speaking of which, I'm back with more requests. Hopefully, these are all the subVIs that are needed.
Please convert from v9.0 to v8.5 (we were able to find an unused upgrade license for our 8.0 version).
Please note: One of the files is a LabVIEW library. I haven't worked with them so much. If you can easily convert the entire library, please go ahead. If you need to convert each file in the library, we only need the following ones:
Initialize.visa
Laser Change Channel.visa
Laser Current.visa
Laser Mode.visa
Laser Output Enable.visa
Thanks once more for your generous assistance!

Here are two VI's.
The library has a considerable number of VI's. I do not have time right now to process them. Sorry
In LV8.0

Well, I tried, but the conversion for "OP710 Meas All Powers" kept crashing LabVIEW. I even tried it LV 2010. Still crashed. I converted the other one. For the "OP710 Meas All Powers" you will probably need to get an evaluation version of LV 2009 installed on a computer (or a virtual machine) so you can look at the code and then replicate it (or rewrite it, given the way it's coded).

Hello, please downconvert from 8.5 to 8.2.1.
Thanks.

Thanks for everyone's help with these files. I was able to find that llb file in a usable version, but your conversions on the other files was extremely helpful. I think I'm all good now. The program is showing the magic 'white arrow' of no errors. Now to just figure out what this program is doing and trying to clean up the mess.
Kudos to all who helped!
