Where can I download a copy of LabVIEW 6.1? I just inherited some legacy code, and it would be easier to run it under old LV. Thanks.

If you can't get a hold of 6.1, you could try going to the Version Conversion board and asking very nicely for someone to convert it to the version of LabVIEW you're running.

LabVIEW prior to 8.0 had no real license manager integrated so you could never download anything but a specially compiled evaluation version for it. If you have a valid license for a more recent version your local sales rep may be able to help you with an installation, but it's actually also quite possible that they don't have that old versions laying around anywhere. After all collecting everything only takes up space and does collect dust.

Bonjour, je voudrais avoir accès au logiciel LABVIEW version 6.1 ou bien 7.1 pour mieux perfectionner mes études.

Just why? These are ancient versions that, while still LabVIEW, have many many deficiencies and limitations compared to a newer version. They are so very much different in many things that I couldn't easily work in them anymore without some relearning and training. So if you go with them it will be not really helping you to learn working with a modern LabVIEW version.
Will you also be going to use a Windows 95 machine for this? After all if you go for something that old, you should stay in style and run it on a 386DX running at super overclocked 66MHz together with Windows 95 or 98. And whooping 8MB of memory! 😀
If it is about the fact that those versions did not have a license manager integrated so you can run them illegally, a better approach would be to use the LabVIEW Community Edition and staying legal.

I don't want to recommend to use those old versions, but I guess some may have valid reasons for those LabVIEW versions. 😄

- You didn't need online activation with LabVIEW6.1…
While that is true, it won't hold up for LabVIEW 7.1 which is the alternative the OP was also opting for.
- You could create executables with LabVIEW7.1 that didn't need an installed RTE (if you didn't use any additional drivers)…
You still can do that. It's cumbersome, not pretty and quite useless considering that pretty much every application nowadays needs some form of runtime library support in one way or the other, that may or may not already be installed on your specific computer, but if you really are determined and willing to spend the time, it can be done. Of course you will need to redo the work every time you want to do it for a new LabVIEW version. I would also guess that trying to figure out how to properly install LabVIEW 7.1 (and the according self contained executables) on a recent Windows machine will require just as much effort to make it work on different system configurations. 😀 So I'm not sure where you would gain much with this approach.
