Drawing alarm lines on an xy plot.

Hi all,

Can anyone help me with the following questions?

1) I want to visually show alarm limits on an XY graph. I am using the order analysis vis to track the amplitudes for various orders (harmonics). These are then passed through the limit test Vi in the sound and vibration kit and plotted on an xy graph against current time. My problem is that the alarm limits will not appear on the graph as is the case if I used the chart waveform. Please, help me or direct me to a better option.

2) Using the sound and vibration toolkit, I can track any single order or a combination of single orders. For example, I can specify that I want to track the 1,2,4,10 orders. The application I am developing will need to track orders such as 1, 2,3,5, 10-20, 20-50, 50-100. Is there a way to track a range of orders?

I will really apreciate any help or suggestions.\

Thanks

Cyprian

Hi Cyprian,

You will be able to do this, but it will be necessary to key in all of the orders you want to track manually.  You could automate this by creating a sub-vi to generate the orders to track array, but it might be easier just to enter this in manually.
