Driver Problem with Lecroy Wave series 3000 and HDO6104-MS Oscilloscope

Hi there,

I am trying to get wavefrom from the Lecroy HDO6104, Lecroy-HDO4034, Lecroy Wavesurfer 3024 and Lecroy WaveRunner 64Xi. I can connect most of them them through either TCPIP or USB via NI-Max software. I have VICP passport, IVI drivers, NI-VISA 19.0 and LeCroy Wave Series Oscilloscope Analyzer (driver from NI website) installed.

For my case, VICP::<Ip address> does not work when I put it on the VISA resource name using simple open, write, read and close block but USB address and device created from NI-Max works fine to return the read buffer and read count.

However, when I try to run the code for several time using USB connection, I get the following error:

Error -1073807343 occurred at VISA Open in VISA-sample-read-write.vi

How can I solve this?

Moreover the lecroy driver show me that there is an error in the property node.

Error -1073807343 occurred at Property Node (arg 1) in LeCroy Wave Series.lvlib:Write.vi

How can I solve this error?

I also get Error 85 when I work with the TCPIP protocol as VICP show me error. I always connect with LXI protocol btw.

Error 85 Occured at Scan From String Function in LabVIEW - NI

Solved: Error 85 Lecroy Scope - Page 2 - NI Community

I tried to fix the error with the above two links by insearting INR in place of %d like INR %d or CMR %d

then I also tried to change read, commad and execution error block with CMR %d, EXR %d, DDR %d. But these did not worked as well.

Read Single waveform_Problem.JPG

Read Command error.JPG

The tech support from Lecroy did not help me much except saying to use VICP passport command and LXI. I am using LXI protocol but VICP did not worked for me as it is showing error. USB connection is also showing the error as described above. I am new to LabVIEW platform.

Would anyone suggest me the possible solution?

Thanks in advanced.

Kind Regards,

Nick

Hi Nick,

Were you able to solve your problem. I am encountering the same thing now.

The original posted listed 4 different pieces of hardware as well as multiple different problems.

They also only have 2 posts in 2022 and never again, so it's unlikely they will return to answer you.

I suggest you make a new post, with information only about your actual problem.
