Driver changing his mind

Hello everybody,

I am using an oscilloscope from RohdeSchwarz with Labview .

it was working perfectly until the driver decided not to work anymore (we changed so much things so I can't tell when it happened exactly ) so I reinstalled the driver and it worked again , but now I am getting this error , what do you think it means??

I downloaded the driver from here https://www.rohde-schwarz.com/de/treiber/rtb2000/

I would be so thankful if someone could help me with this

Some possible ideas:

  • Wiggle the cabling
  • Check everything is plugged in correctly
  • If using some sort of adapter (e.g. USB to RS232) try using a different one
  • Unplug and plug in again - see if that fixes things.

The problem appears to be physical, based on the message and your description (at least to me).

If you've made changes to the driver though, that could also cause some problems (perhaps, but I'm still guessing physical, especially given the call chain).
