Drivers for Eurotherm 2216 dual action controller

I am looking for drivers for a Eurotherm 2216 dual action controller. Older community posts I have read suggest that ni.com has these drivers, but I can no longer find them when searching on the website. Could someone direct me to where I might find them, or if such drivers are no longer supported, would drivers for a similar device like the Eurotherm 2416 work? Thank you for your help.

Hello als37,

the driver for the E2416 support the common functions in the E2216 accessed with the Modbus or EI-Bisynch protocol as well. Since Eurotherm in one of the few instrument suppliers who don't release a new protocol with every model this thankfully works for process values, setpoints and most status messages as well. The major difference is that things like gain scheduling or a second PID set are missing in the 2216 so they won't be supported by the software as well.
