EDF Error -2558 occurred at Open Data Storage

Hi all! 

Hope one of you can help me! 

I've got following error when I try to read a EDF file in my small program: 

Error -2558 occurred at Open Data Storage

Possible reason(s): LabVIEW: LabVIEW cannot open the data storage file. Ensure that you chose a correct DataPlugin for this file format.

I've tried to install and uninstall the EuropeanDataFormat plugin several times and restart my computer but nothing helps. Ive followed the instructions from https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/dataplugins/using-dataplugins-with-labview.html on using the plugin.

Hi Catherine,

I tried your program with an example EDF file and it worked without issue. I also installed the EuropeanDataFormat dataplugin from the following link:

Is this the same dataplugin that you have installed? In addition, just to check whether the dataplugin is being detected by LabVIEW when the 'Configure Open Data Storage' dialog box opens up could you please click on the 'Install/Update DataPlugins' button and search for "edf". The EuropeanDataFormat plugin should atleast be set as installed. In addition, since I do not know the particular .edf file that you are trying to open, it may be worth to install PhysioBank from the following link:

https://www.ni.com/en/support/downloads/dataplugins/download.biomedical-standards-dataplugin-for-phy...
