ELVIS III Device Name terminal

Our college have recently bought an ELVIS III and i'm new using it, I can't find where is Device Name terminal in controller palette. As far as I know, it is needed to initilize instrument with a handle, isn't?

Hello,

I understand you want to be able to choose the device name from the front panel, right ?

You can right click on the input of the VI and select Create->Control.

If you want a specific style (Silver, Classic,...) you can search "device" in the palette of the front panel (ctrl+space or right click->search)
