Ok. You need to sign in manually into the account from the computer with the application.

Normally, it coming some mail to the "restore-email" which notifies you that a new browser is connected to your account. Perhaps U got that kind of mail?

I highly recommend this.  We do this all the time.  I find that programmatically sending an e-mail through g-mail doesn't seem to work until we open a browser and log into google from that PC the first time.  I think the "less secure" setting in google helps, but I know that when I successfully log into g-mail and send an e-mail from the browser, the programmatic sending of e-mails works after that.

I've sent an email from the account but still no joy with the new account. Still gives username and password error. I'll have to try again in a week. The old one works fine though.
