I have a college project designed and the server vi works perfectly when un-deployed. We have not moved on to state machines yet so i have had to use local variables in the project. When deployed, one of my Pic Rings does not update its value in the NI Distributed System Manager. When i use a manual button in the client vi to change the Pic Ring condition the server vi responds to the change but the value does not update in the NI Distributed System Manager. I have the Pic Ring as a shared variable in the shared variable library and it is set to Read/Write because of the use of local variables. I think the issue is that the variable has a Read value in the IO Server. I tried to edit Pic Ring in the IO Server so I can set it to Read/Write but I get the following issue. I have read that I need to be logged in to edit the IO Server in NI Distributed System Manager.
Any help would be appreciated.
