Edit Palette Set Hangs

Hello,

Has anybody had an issue with the Tools > Advanced > Edit Palette Set actually hanging or getting stuck with the Edit Window behind the Getting Started window?  See the attached PNG

I enter the Menu when Labview has first started and don't have any problems.  If during the editing, I accidentaly ALT-TAB to another program, we end up with the screen as shown in the PNG.  THe palettes disappear and I cannot get back to the Edit Controls and Functions Palette Set window to save or close it.  The Getting Started window has priority and can't be exited. (you can open VI's however)

I also selected a VI or project to open - it didn't open but rather the palette set came back to life.  I was then able to save the palettes and then the VI or project screen opened.

Not a major problem since there is a workaround.

Hi Trent,

This was reported to R&D #235257 for further investigation.  I saw this in LV 2009 SP1--was this the version you were using?  For now, I agree that using the "new VI" or "new project" is a good workaround.
