Then I guess ( ) that I am the one to blame for not being explicit enough. I accept my mistake. Cory ,however, have correctly guessed the implied need and amply solved it. I am thankful to all you who are always there to help. My trust in your problem solving abililities has soared. Thanks for being so dependable!

Well, I'm just going to throw my hands in the air now because I don't know anymore what solution you're looking for. First you said Cory's solution was what you were looking for, then you said the solution I provided was what you were looking for, which was based on not interpreting vertex as a maximum, DESPITE the literal definition (which I was well aware of, thank you very much), then you said that the meaning of vertex as a maximum was what you meant, then you said that Ravens Fan was correct, and then you went back to say that Cory's solution was what you meant.

I give up. I just hope you got what you were looking for.

And all I am going to say is thanks (I have my reasons for not taking sides, most important being I need guidance from all you gurus, in furure too. So I thought it best not to cross anyone. Besides as you said, what matters most is that the job got done. Thanks again for that).

Have a peaceful day!
