Elmo Gold Whistle driving motor

I'm using a NI PXI-1042Q chassis with a PXI 8106 and some cards. In MAX every card is shown, except the PXI-8231. The card is powered, I can see 2 working LEDs. This is what I see in MAX:

I can run some programs on the PXI-8106 in combination with the FPGA card. I want to drive an Elmo Gold Whistle through a VI. This Whistle is connected to a motor which I suppose can be driven from the Elmo card. I've found that you can drive the elmo card with commands but am not sure how to implement this intio LabVIEW. The Elmo card is connected to Ethernet from the PXI-8231. I only want it to rotate over x degrees in both directions.

So, 3 questions:

  1. Why is my PXI-8231 not showing in MAX?
  2. Any idea on how to 'program' such a movement? I'm quite the programming noob, tbh.
  3. How can I implment such a drive?

Thanks for any help.

Solved in a different way. I'm using the program from Elmo (EASII) and I'm controlling the motor from that interface instead of LabVIEW. I think it is possible to integrate it in LabVIEW, but that would take too much time for me. 🙂
