my elvis ii osciloscope won't trigger

Can you please explain what steps you are performing to observe this behavior?

The fgen is placed across two resistors in series. The oscilascope is place with gnd on lower gnd and probe between resistors. The osciloscope states waiting for trigger. The placed gnd on gnd and probe on the hot of fgen. still no trigger.

are you using ni-scope vi's? have you used this scope or just starting out? post the error message
