Encoder

Hello, I'm currently having issues using this encoder with the MyRio, I am trying to count its pulses per revolution using the 'Encoder Express Vi', using the block diagram I've shown below, when running the program and turning my encoder clockwise, the counter on the front panel will not show a change, From there I want to be able to calculate RPM's, Angular velocity, and linear velocity. I've checked if all the inputs to the board were correct and secure, even tried many different configurations, but cannot get it to accurately count or even count at all. I know this encoder works because I tested it already on an Arduino and got results!

This encoder only has a Phase A cable, Common cable, 5V-24V cable, 2500 pulses per revolution,

Since it only has a phase A cable, it cannot count bidirectional, however I don't believe that makes any difference

Any advice would be appreciated

If you don't get any sign of life, and Reset Counter is not always true, I'd say there is a hardware problem or HW\SW mismatch (bad configuration).

Can you read the counter input as a digital input?

Without any real code (not an image of a snippet(?)), and\or hardware schematics, there's really not much we can do to help.
