Hi Y3G!
While searching on the net i found some documents that hopefully can help you solve this issue. You can try the solution of the installation of VISA and check if that works, in the case it doesnt just reinstall the version you already had. Hope this helps, have a nice day! 🙂

I'm currently getting this error when using an Agilent MXA 9020. I'm using the LabView driver downloaded from NI. Attached is a screen shot of the error. Anyone have any suggestions?

Have you tried any of the suggestions from other posts on this error? Did you first search for the error code?
You have not provided any details. Before you can use the driver, the instrument has to show in MAX. You have not even mentioned the type of interface you are using (GPIB/USB/Ethernet). Once it shows up in MAX, you have to select the correct resource from the VISA Resource Name pull-down menu.

I don't seem this error most of the time. The error ocassionally surfaces once or twice while doing a few thousand measrements overnight. I'm talking to the decive via ethernet. The device is listed in Max.

More details please. Is the onstrument set for a fixed IP? Are you using a dedicated network card for the connection? I would recomend both. If there is any connection to a corporate network, you could be subject to problems. The other thing to do is make sure you are using a VISA Open and Close repeatedly.
