Error 1003 when creating an exe

I keep getting the 1003 error it reads

Error 1003 occurred at ABAPI Dist Chg and Save VIs.vi -> ABAPI Dist Build LLB Image.vi -> ABAPI Copy Files and Apply Settings.vi -> EBEP_Invoke_Build_Engine.vi -> EBUIP_Build_Invoke.vi -> EBUIP_Build_Invoke.vi.ProxyCaller

I know the error code is just a not executable VI, but my VI works fine. I have mass compiled it and it complies fine. I don't have any global or shared variables in this VI.

Any ideas?

had you try to delete your build spec and create a new one?
In wich way had you created the build spec? convert from LV7.1 scpript or from the wizard in the LV8 project manager?

I am building the exe through the project manager in LabVIEW 8. I have tried deleting the build and starting a new one.

I found the problem it will not let me use a global variable.
