I work with a Tektronic TBS1072B-EDU > connect by USB.

I'm a newbie in the field.

Your device is not responding!

Check:

• Correct device reference (or COM port)
• correct cabling
• correct commands for your device

Here is what I have already done:

I changed the USB cable >  Same.
I disabled the energy saving of usb ports > same.

The fault occurs after 5-10 minutes.

FYI the use is for testing the capacitance of motors.

So there still is the possibility of invalid commands which are sent by you to the device…

Did you try to debug which command enforces that Timeout response?
