Recently upgraded from LV 8.0 to LV 2010, and upgraded DAQmx to current version. Now my video data acquisition program doesn't work. I get the message
Error -1074397153 NI-IMAQ: Cannot detect recognizable video source.
I get the same error message when I try some of the example IMAQ VIs that ship with LV 2010. I am using a NI PCI-1411 image acquisiton card. I have tried replacing the S-video-to-S-video cable. I have tried swapping PCI-1411 boards with another machine. I have tried different video sources: 2 medical ultrasound machines and 2 VCRs. I have tried the S-video outputs from the various sources, and I have tried using the RCA plug video signal, with a converter to S-video type plug at the PCI-1411 end. I have checked in MAX to confirm that the 1411 board is recognized and is img0. It is. I have run the MAX self test on the 1411 board; it passes all tests. Thank you for your suggestions.

It sounds like you need to upgrade the NI-IMAQ drivers. What version are you using? Try taking a look at this KB to verify if you have a compatible version of NI-IMAQ/dx installed.
