Error 1722.

What is the latest run-time engine version you have installed.  I've seen this error before but I believe it was specific to having the 7.1.1 RTE installed and causing problems.

It is 7.1.1. I tried to repair RT 7.1.1, it doesn't help. And then I repair Laview 7.1, still not work. Yestorday, I need to uninstall all of NI product from my PC and re-install labview 7.1----finally the problem solved.

But this kind of problem already happened in my PC twice. It is killing me. I am looking for a solution how to prevent and solve the problems easily.

lvfanqie,

I noticed that you stated that this has happened on the same computer.  You may want to try running a Chkdsk on your computer.

I was having similar problems with a computer that had a bad sector, and was causing me to have to reinstall LabVIEW.

Regards,

I've been having the same problem, trying to run a Laview 7.1 installer.  I get the following message in my event log...

I've tried a scan disk, and that didn't help. Next move is to remove Labview completely from my PC and do a fresh install.  Is there anything else I can try before I start again?

Best wishes

Derek
