Error -1967353906 occurred Modbus I/O Server error

I face this problem periodically and prompt out this error message saying that "

LabVIEW DSC: Hex 0x8ABC8FCE

The response from the modbus slave device is not readable. Check the communication settings between the modbus master and slave devices."

Once i restart the program,this program seem like works again.... However, every once in a while (around once a day, with no predictable timing), I lose serial communications.

What I can do to handle this error? Kindly advise.

My Modbus I/O server settings is:

Refresh Rate:2 s

Retry Attempts:4

Wait if fail : 8s

Timeout delay : 500ms

Baud rate:9600

and there is 4 I/O item

Is it a cable fault?

I'm also facing the same problem.

I've checked the cable, and everything should be fine since the cable is properly handle.

This error message tends to popout after I've runned the Lab View Application for some moment.

After this error message pop out, the PC will hang and thenI'll have to restart the PC, this caused me to lost some portion of the data.

Hope anyone with any idea can help me with this problem.
