Error -1967390704

Sometimes when I read historical data I receive the following error message (DSC 6.1, Logos 4.4.0.15, Jan2003 fixes):
Error -1967390704 occured at CIT_ReadTrace.vi
error code - 0x8abc0010

Possible reasons:
LabVIEW (DSC): (Hex 0x8ABC0010) Socket has been disconnected by its peer.

I have many problems with this same issue. Here is what NI sent to me as a temp workaround. It sounds like they have some software design issues. This workaround made reading numeric data from CITADEL extremely fast. I am seeing some slow response when reading binary string data from CITADEL. Beware of the FEB26 2003 fixes for the DSC on the web. I have a machine that locks up the tag engine when it is loaded. I wanted to load them because it sounds like it will fix some of the CITADEL issues. From the example file, I just place the 'OPEN DB' and 'CLOSE DB' vi's outside of any loop where I use the read historical vi's.

I was able to get the FEB2003 DSC upgrade to run, just make sure it is unzipped to the proper location. I had several files with multiple copies in different locations.
