Error -200141 data was overwritten before it could be read by the system

I've configured the DAQ Assistant in LV 7.1 to count the edges on CTR1 input of PCI-MIO-16E-4 board. The count direction is externally controlled. The input to CTR1 is a 200Hz quadrature encoder. I provide an external 10kHz clock at PFI1. In continuous acquisition mode, I want to read 2000 samples at a rate of 5kHz but I receive the above error. Any help would be appreciated.
