Error -200430

I'm using the NI usb-6001 for event counting but I keep getting this error message saying that the channels do not have the same IO type, however the datasheet states that the daq supports event counting.  Can someone tell me why this is happening?

You are using the instance of CI Freq. That's a frequency measurement task.

You should use CI Count Edges instead.
