Error #3: "E:\lv45\mgsource\memory.c", line 887

When I select Edit>Edit Control & Function Pallettes..> and try to select a different pallette such as default, (basic is shown), I get this error and Labview shuts down.
I'm using LabView 5.0

Dennis,
You should upgrade your version of LabVIEW to at least 5.0.1. This error has been fixed after version 5.0.

Hello Dennisbob,

Unfortunately, we no longer provide support for LabVIEW 5.1 and previous after our release of LabVIEW 7.0 this past May.

However, I went ahead and researched your error and possible causes, and was not able to turn up any similar matches to your problem. I would recommend reinstalling LabVIEW, especially if you have been using it for some time and this error suddenly appeared.

You may also try repairing the installation of LabVIEW if your operating system allows it.

Unfortunately (that I know of) I can only upgrade to 7.0, which probably will not happen here.

I was able to replace the MENUS folder with a known good one and the problem went away.
