Error Code 3 with Executable on Development Machine

Hi,

I've been creating builds with labview 2018 and testing the executables on my development machine all day. I made one small change and now when I try to open the executable I get error code 3 - could not load front panel. I am getting this error popup for about 60 of the VIs. I am not sure how to fix this issue. I tried opening it in 2020 and it builds and the executable opens just fine. Then tried saving back to 2018 from 2020 and the same issue. Any ideas to help fix this problem? I don't beleive the VIs are corrupted:

Thanks,

I've noticed something interesting. When I deselect the option 'Allow future versions of the LabVIEW Runtime to run this application' the executable opens just fine. When I select it again it has the same issue.

There's a lot of checkboxes on the "Advanced" and "Additional exclusions" tabs of the build configuration menu.

Have you played "checkbox roulette" on those to see which, if any, might let your build work with the "Allow future versions..." option selected?

That is, assuming you need the "Allow future versions..." option.  If you don't, it sound like it's already solved.

I may have to live with it, but I’m confused as to why it suddenly started giving these errors out of nowhere.

Ive experienced similar but different issues in the past with builds and it’s very frustrating and time consuming to find a “solution” with the checkbox roulette as you say.
