Hello,
I have a problem connecting to a LeCroy LT344 oscilloscope. I have LabView 12.0, MAX 5.3 and the lctlxxxx IVI driver installed. I already configured the driver, and I can use the VISA test panel to communicate with the scope. However, when I try to run the IviScope - Acq Wfm Edge Triggered.vi example (after choosing the IVI Logical name), it gets stucked in the IviScope Initialize.vi block, and generates the following error:
Error -1074135038 occurred at IviScope Initialize With Options.vi
Possible reason(s):
Primary Error: (Hex 0xBFFA0002) File could not be opened.
Complete call chain:
IviScope Initialize With Options.vi
IviScope Initialize.vi
IviScope [CA] - Cont Acq Wfm Edge Triggered.vi
The same happens if I choose simulate with specific driver in MAX. Is there some problem in the driver or am I missing something? I'm new to LabView and to IVI, and I would really appreciate any help.
Thank you,
Vinícius

Sorry, it's because I think my previous post Subject didn't ilustrate the problem very well.

You might want to contact the LeCroy support person who posted in http://forums.ni.com/t5/LabVIEW/Error-85-Lecroy-Scope/td-p/1035258/page/2

Thanks, but I had already tried to contact Alan Blankman. The emails are being rejected by the recipient. Maybe he stopped working there and his email got cancelled.
Any ideas that could help me?

Hi There - I'm still here at LeCroy - maybe you have a bad email address? I moved over to our marketing department a few years ago... Leonard Brown, who is our AE with the most remote control and LabVIEW know-how will most likely post a reply. You can also email him at leonard.brown@lecroy.com, or you can also email technical.support@lecroy.com to reach the complete AE team. Best Regards, Alan
