Error reading ethernet configuration file - PCIe-6343

Hello everyone,

I work with a university and have inherited a problem from a system that was deployed for our collaborators, years before I got employed (in 2014). No one that was involved with that project is still working at the university.
I would like to have suggestions regarding how to fix this issue. It might be a simple fix, but I have no experience using this real-time systems, and was not able to find a straightforward fix (saw this forum post: link, but it is on a different type of cards). Additionally, I do not have access to the PC, and will have to travel down a few hours to attempt fixes. Thus, why I would like to get down there prepared!

The system consists of an old real-time PC, with a PCIe-6343 NI card. This PC is connected to various actuators and sensors making some sort of sailing simulator.

After ten years of successful service, the hard drive failed. It was decided that cloning it, and installing the new one would be the easiest, cheapest, and fastest way to fix the problem (very naive, I know).
When turning on the real-time computer with the new hard drive, it seems to boot properly. However we have the following error (see photograph taken of the screen): "Error reading ethernet configuration file "C:\ni-rt\system\ethernet\ethernet.ini". I found some potential solution that would be using the "Desktop PC Utility USB Drive". Can anyone confirm this could do?

Has anyone encountered this before or have any insight? What is the standard fix for similar issues?

Thanks for taking the time to read. Have a good rest of your day!

On a new hard drive, installing everything, including the OS and drivers, is definitely the correct and easiest approach.
