Error: trying to open and use HSDIO example VIs, running into Access violation Exception

I am trying to get NI-HSDIO installed and working with a PXIe-6544 Digital I/O module.

Previously, I was unable to view HSDIO example VIs or sub VIs even with HSDIO installed and reinstalled multiple times, at the time attempting to use version 18.0

After several hours uninstalling and reinstalling and updating LabVIEW (64-bit, 2022 Q3 Patch 1) and HSDIO (2022 Q4), I can finally see the HSDIO example VIs under Example Finder >> Hardware Input and Output >> Modular Instruments >> NI-HSDIO. Before, with the other versions of HSDIO I attempted to install (including 18.0 and 21.5) I was unable to locate the "Modular Instruments" folder in Example Finder and thus couldn't view any example VIs.

However, when I attempt to open "Dynamic Generation and Acquisition-Demo.vi", the following Exception: Access violation appears:

Error text: "Exception: Access violation (0xC0000005) at EIP=0x00007FFFB44FC3D9"

"Version: 22.3.1f8 (64-bit)"

How do I proceed? HSDIO 2022 Q4 is the only version of HSDIO I have tried so far where the example VIs even show up in Example Finder, but clearly I still can't use the examples due to this error.

UPDATE

These issues and errors still persist on 64-bit LabVIEW 2023, even after doing a repair of all HSDIO packages using LabVIEW Package Manager

As a quick test, I tried to run the same HSDIO Example VIs on 32-bit LabVIEW 2023 and suddenly the access violation error was gone and the HSDIO Resource drop downs worked and the VIs started working properly.

TL;DR: HSDIO works with 32-bit LabVIEW 2023, but not 64-bit LabVIEW 2023.
