Error using active-x with excel in win xp

In Labview 6.0.2 I am getting an "error -2147417851 occurred at The server threw an exception" when I access certain properties (e.g. visible, open) in excel 97 thru active-x on a notebook running xp. The same routines run fine on desktops running NT 4 and 2K.

In a LabVIEW, try going to Tools>>Options>>Revision History and checking off Login automatically with system user name

Thanks, I already found a fix. I updated office by applying service releases SR-1 and SR-2. I stopped getting the error after SR-1.
