Error when using the DAQ assistant with USB 6008

Hi,

I am trying to use the DAQ assistant to acquire an analog input signal but I receive an unknown error. The exact steps I am following to create the task are:

1) Selected DAQ assistant

2) Selected "Acquire Signals"

3) Selected "Analog Input"

4) selected "Voltage"

5) chose ai4 for the physical channel

Now when I click finish "An unknown error has occurred" appears.

Any help would be much appreciated. -Jo

From what you describe I would guess that you have some sort of problem with your installation.

Either LabVIEW or the DAQmx driver.

Try repairing the installation of LabVIEW and DAQmx (If you do it one at a time you will be ablework out which one was faulty).

Go to add/remove programs, select National Instruments Software and you should be able to bring a window that allows you to select components to repair.
