HI,
lately on my laptop i have problems when I try to connect with my PXIe-1092 chassis. Inside I have:
But every time I turn on the device, I found this situation on the NI MAX device manager:
The last time by turning on and off the PXIe-1092 I have recovered from the problem. But I need to understand what happening since it come out every time I use it.
For sake of completeness on the same laptop it is working also an USB-6211 connected by USB serial.
I work with Windows 10 Pro as OS and with Labview and TestStands 2021.
Thank you for the help!
Best Regards,

What I've seen, every time you power down the chassis, the PC will lose it. You have to turn the chassis back on, then restart the PC for it to find it again
I turn them both off, then turn on the chassis, and then turn on the PC

Hi,
Your method seems to work fine. But I do not get why it happens. Checking on-line it can be caused by the BIOS settings or by the old firmware version of the PXIe chassis. I have the 19.0.0f0 while NI MAX show me to install the 20.5.1f0, even if then I suppose to be administrator to do that because a pop-up writes me that I am not allowed. Do you know something more about this? Do you suggest to update the firmware?
Best regards,
Zuc
