Example "TransparentVI.vi" show no change in Labview under Linux but in Labview under Windows it work why?

Hello,

we develop our application in Labview 8.1 under Linux. Now I want use the "FP:Transparency" but it dosn't work.

I found the example "TransparentVI.vi" and it also dosn't work under Linux (the example is running without problems but there is no change in the transparence). I test the same example under windows and there it work.

Why it work under Windows but not under Linux?

Can somebody help me?

Hello MSD,

at the moment transparency isn't supported under Linux. But, Linux will simply ignore the property node, therefore if you have a working VI under Windows that uses transparency it will continue to work under Linux without error.
